Cranksgiving is an event that collects food items for the Omaha Food Bank by sending bicycle riders on a ten-item scavenger hunt! The bicycle riders will be donating money by purchasing food items at 10 different stores around the area. You can still contribute even if you do not want to ride, all cash and food donations will be gladly accepted and will be given to the Omaha Food Bank as well. The Cranksgiving event will be held at Bike Masters Bicycle Shop (located near 130th and Fort) on Saturday, November 12th, 2011. Registration starts at 11 AM and the scavenger hunt begins at Noon. There will be prizes, food, and drink for all participants. Even a chance to win a bicycle raffled off by Bike Masters! We encourage people of all ages and abilities to participate in this positive and supportive annual event! Please contact Perry Mitchell (Event Director) with any questions, concerns or donations.
Thanks!
